The House

The house is actually nestled in the village of Faugères itself. The house is very old, being constructed out of traditional stone from the local area. In previous times the house functioned as a farmhouse and the courtyard was shared among the surrounding properties. The outbuilding was used to press cider, which is why we refer to it as the "Apple Room". Wine was also produced in the cellars and two large old vats for making wine remain.
The house has a spacious lounge and a large kitchen. There is also a balcony with a sun awning for sitting out in the sun.
The house can technically accomodate eight people but is best suited to groups of four if all of you are adults. The four beds in the Apple Room are best suited to children.
